Dokt!OR

The Dokt!OR program for PhD students is an important component of the promotion of young researchers by the GOR.

We invite all interested PhD students to the Audimax (building 30.95) on 06.09. starting at 15:00. After a short welcome, Ms. Manuela Schnaubelt from the House of Competence of KIT will give a talk on Slow down and gain time - an introduction to stress and time management for doctoral researchers.

Between 16:00 and 16:30 we offer a coffee break in the Audimax Foyer (building 30.95) to get to know each other.

This will be followed by a panel discussion between 16:30 and 17:30 on the topic How do you launch a successful academic career in the field of operations research?. As panel participants we could win Prof. Dr. Christina Büsing (RWTH Aachen), Dr.sc.ETH Stephan Bütikofer (ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences), Dr.-Ing. Uta Mohring (KIT) and Mr. Christian Füllner (KIT, moderator).

Afterwards, all participants are cordially invited to the Get-Together, which will start at 18:00 in the atrium of the 20.30 building.
